Mayor Robinson called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM

Roll call was taken:

Consent Agenda: Motion made by Alderman Littlebrant, and seconded by Alderman Kreinbrink, to adopt the Consent Agenda. Aye: Aldermen Dell, Killey, Kreinbrink, Littlebrant, Robinson & Whitecotton Nay:0 Motion carried 6:0

Mayor Robinson requested Executive Session at the end of the meeting for personnel under 5 ILCS 120/ Section 2(c)(1) “The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body, or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity”. No action will be taken.

1. Plan Commission regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 13, 2021 has been canceled.

2. Lower Little Rock Creek Watershed Study: An action plan virtual/remote meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 10:00 am. Audience/stakeholder participation in this workshop meeting will assist in setting the watershed project goals and priorities, being:

• Programmatic & Policy Recommendations

• Site-Specific Action Plan Recommendations

• Critical Areas

3. 2021 Brush Pickup Program: Ward 2 was covered on Monday, April 12th.

4. Resolution 2021-03: Engineer Horak requested a motion for approval of “Resolution for Improvement under the Illinois Highway Code” requesting that IDOT appropriate $240,000 of Motor Fuel Tax Funds for 21-00047-00-TL: U.S. Route 34 (Church Street) Duvick Avenue and Indian Springs Mall Traffic Signal Improvements.

So moved by Alderman Dell, and seconded by Alderman Whitecotton. Aye: Aldermen Dell, Killey, Kreinbrink, Littlebrant, Robinson & Whitecotton Nay:0 Motion carried unanimously

Announcements: The Finance Committee Meeting will be held on Monday, April 19th, 2021, at 6:30 PM prior to the Committee-of-the-Whole Meeting.

Executive Session: Motion made by Alderman Kreinbrink, and seconded by Alderman Whitecotton, to enter into Executive Session at 7:05 PM under 5 ILCS 120/ Section 2(c)(1) “The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity”. Alderman Whitecotton made a motion to return to regular session of the Council Meeting at 7:46 PM. Motion was seconded by Alderman Dell. Motion carried unanimously via voice vote.

Adjournment: There being no further business to come before the Council, motion made by Alderman Whitecotton and seconded by Alderwoman Killey to adjourn the Regular Council meeting at 7:48 PM.
