City of Sandwich Finance Committee met Oct. 17.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Chairwoman Johnson called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM.

Roll call was taken:

Present: Alderwoman Rebecca Johnson, Alderwoman Cara Killey & Alderman Fred Kreinbrink

Also present: Alderman Rich Robinson, Jeff Penman

Review of Semi-Monthly Bills: Purchase of “tablet” for Vactor on Amazon. No description available. Details and line items requested for adjustments. Tri-County Landscape restoration materials for Woodbury project. Brad Manning Ford submitted substantial bill for squad # 13.

Old Business: Association to restore City Hall submitted bill for two months 9/1 and 10/1. Both approved.

New Business: Opera House restoration issues. Cannot seal brick until the gutters are done. Possibility of sealing moisture in. DeKalb County community foundation must change the grand and re-appropriation of funds may be necessary.

Audience Comments: Rich Robinson inquired about Brian Vokel’s pizza party. Squad #13 going to Manning Ford in DeKalb questioned.

Finance Meeting Motion to send monthly bills to the city council for payment: Motion made by Alderwoman Killey, seconded by Alderman Kreinbrink. Motion passed.

Adjournment: There being no further business to come before the Committee, motion made by Alderman Kreinbrink, and seconded by Alderwoman Killey, to adjourn at 6:50 PM. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.
