Ordinance #O2023-02: Special Use Request by Heliofidem Renewable Energy, LLC – Plote Somonauk 2 for the construction and operation of a 5-megawatt, 29.7- acre solar farm on a 157.19-acre property located on the southwest corner of Pine Road and Gov Beveridge Highway, Somonauk Township. The property is zoned A-1, Agricultural District, and already has a Special Use Permit for a 2 megawatt, 10.03-acre solar garden. (Petition SO-22-19)

b. Zoning Text Amendments – Request of DeKalb County for changes to the text of Zoning Ordinance (Petition DC-22-15)

a. Ordinance #O2023-07: Special Use Request by New Leaf Energy, Inc. to allow for the construction and operation of a 5- megawatt solar farm on 35-acres of the 77.5-acre property located on the northeast corner of Crego and Bastian Roads, Clinton Township. The property is zoned A-1, Agricultural District. (Petition CL-23-01)

b. Ordinance #O2023-08: Special Use Request by New Leaf Energy, Inc. to allow for the construction and operation of a 5-megawatt solar farm on 35-acres of the 100.95-acre property located on the southeast corner of Kane and Preserve Roads, in Clinton Township. The property is zoned A-1, Agricultural District. (Petition CL-23-02)
