City of Sandwich Finance Committee met Sept. 5.
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
Chairwoman Johnson called the meeting to order at 6:32 PM.
Roll call was taken:
Present:
Alderwoman Rebecca Johnson, Alderwoman Karsta Erickson
Also Present: City Administrator Geoff Penman
Review of Semi-Monthly Bills: Bills were reviewed to be submitted for payment approval. Question about golf outing invoice coming out of benevolent fund for Police Chief. Question regarding new uniforms for new hire officers.
Old & unfinished Business: Minutes approved for Finance committee meetings. Approved July 17th, 2023, August 7th and August 21st, 2023. Motion to approve by Alderwoman Erickson. Seconded by Alderwoman Johnson. Motion passed.
New Business: City Administrator wanted to call to our attention an invoice coming for seal coating for a total of $12,970.00. Conversation about upgrading servers. Alderwoman Erickson inquired about the new screens in the ANEX not working. City Administrator Penman said he would make a call and that they were under warranty.

Finance Meeting Motion to send monthly bills to the city council for payment: Motion made by Alderwoman Erickson & seconded by Alderwoman Johnson. Motion passed.
Adjournment: There being no further business to come before the Committee, motion made by Alderwoman Erickson & seconded by Alderwoman Johnson to adjourn at 6:50 PM., Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.
