There were 3,436 Hispanic students enrolled in DeKalb County school districts in the 2022-23 school year, 3.8% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that Hispanic students made up 21.3% of the 16,139 students in the county. They were the second most represented ethnicity at the time.

Among the eight districts in DeKalb County, DeKalb Community Unit School District 428 recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 2,018 students.
