In the 2022-23 school year, 13.2% of the students in DeKalb Community Unit School District 428 passed the Math portion of the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR), according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 2,838 students in DeKalb Community Unit School District 428 who took the Math portion of the test, approximately 375 (13.2%) passed.

The percentage of DeKalb Community Unit School District 428 students who met or exceeded expectations on the IAR increased by 1.9% compared to the previous school year.

This comes after a similar aid was granted from the federal government, as part of the American Rescue Plan.
