A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was submitted to the Dekalb County Election Division on February 5, 2025. The request, sent by us at DeKalb Times, seeks detailed information about all candidates running in the upcoming spring election.
Our request specifically asks for a comprehensive list of all individuals who have declared their candidacy. This list should include each candidate's first, middle, and last name, the office they are vying for, the jurisdiction of that office, and their party affiliation.
In addition to this basic information about each candidate, we also requested contact details for every individual on the list. This includes their address, phone number, and email address.
