State Representative Jeff Keicher (IL) | Representative Jeff Keicher (R) 70th District
State Senator Dave Syverson and State Representative Jeff Keicher are collaborating with Versiti Blood Center of Illinois to organize a Community Blood Drive. The event is scheduled for Monday, March 17, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at 115 W. Oak Knoll Drive in Hampshire. It will take place inside the Versiti Blood Bus located in the parking lot.
Residents interested in participating are encouraged to book appointments soon due to limited space. Appointments will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
To schedule an appointment, individuals can visit the Versiti Blood Center of Illinois Donor Portal or call 800-786-4483. While appointments are preferred, walk-ins will also be accommodated. A photo ID is required for donation, and donors are advised to eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water beforehand.
Each donor will have the chance to enter a drawing for a trip to Hawaii, with details available at versiti.org/savecation.
Versiti Blood Center of Illinois states that each blood donation can impact and save up to three lives.
