School discipline: Which DeKalb County districts reported the most suspensions due to dangerous weapons?

Dekalb Community Unit School District 428 and Sycamore Community Unit School District 427 reported the highest rate of students suspended for reasons related to a dangerous weapon during the 2016-17 school year in DeKalb County, according to the latest report from the Illinois State Board of Education.

In this analysis, the incident rate is calculated by dividing the number of incidents by district enrollment.
