City Of Dekalb Fire And Police Commission issued the following announcement on Oct. 19.
The DeKalb IL Police Department and Canine "Tac" need your help! Voting is underway for the Aftermath K9 Grant which awards up to $5,000 to K9 units. This grant was founded to showcase, support, and reward the unique contributions made by law enforcement and their K9 units across the country. Indirectly, the K9 Grant raises safety awareness and community kinship throughout the neighborhoods that Aftermath and our law enforcement partners proudly serve. Tac is a valuable asset to our community, so show him your support!
Voting will stay open until November 5. Anyone is able to vote, and you can vote every 12 hours using the link below.
